Youtubers I love ❤

Youtubers I love ❤

It's only recently I've started watching Youtubers. I used to mainly use YouTube for tutorial type things (how to do a fishtail braid & add gadget on blogger etc) but now I've become slightly addicted.

It's wierd how enticing watching strangers can be. I've taken to watching YouTube rather than TV helped by the fact it's still cold & I can get in bed at 9pm and browse.

It's odd how addictive haul videos & parent chatter can be. I don't think I could put myself out there but I have huge respect for people that can do it & make an income.

The channels that have become my favs are:

Fleur Deforce & Fleur Devlog - I have become strangely addicted to this Youtuber who I stumbled across by accident. She has a huge following & is well established. I Ioved her Venice vlogs (so want to go!), general chatter & approach. Lots of make up and clothing.

Sarah Barnes - From Taming Twins lovely mummy Youtuber. Very warm & relatable.

Mrs Meldrum - Another one I've strangely become addicted too. I'm in awe at how her house, make up, clothes and hair look so perfect with 2 young children. Has regular uploads featuring day in the life and hauls.

Mummy in the know - I'm mew to this channel but like this youtuber who's another relatable mummy.

My Pale Skin - Make up channel well established.  I'm not into the contouring, false eyelashes, high end brands and multi product approaches but loved her video about bare faced beauty & her ethos.

Miss Budget Beauty - More basic make up approach that I can follow and another I found by accident. Lots of high street brands so affordable.

Have you become addicted to YouTube?
What channels do you watch?

  1. I'm a video gamer so I love video gaming channels! Yogscast are my favourites. I also like some mummy vloggers - Franca is one of my favourites, and I also love Evynne Hollens and Ellie + Jared! Great post and a fab list of YouTubers! #KCACOLS

  3. I haven't really got into YouTube yet, in the blogging/vlogging sense but, like you, I used it for help and How To's! I like Giovanna Fletcher and will Sometimes watch her and her husband Tom's vlogs. I love their family! #KCACOLS

  4. I really like watching youtube for the vloggers too. I have taken a real liking to booktubers, those who blog about the books they have read and just general book chat. Youtube is great for learning things to, like you said fishtail plaits and things. It can be a good resource.

  5. I haven't really watched a lot of youtubers but some are fantastic and like you say it's great for tutorials. My boyfriend watches everything on there though, debates, video gaming, music...it's always on in the background. #KCACOLS

  6. I don't watch a lot of you tube, unless specifically trying to find something or a certain clip. Have never seen any vloggers, unless linked up on a blog linky. Maybe I'm missing out, but I'm not sure I even have time to start looking at another social media forum - I'm struggling just with the ones I do attempt! :D KCACOLS

    1. I must admit watching vloggers has taken the time normally spent watching TV or reading. There's not enough hours for everything.

  9. I'm not big on Youtubers, but I do love The Michalaks - their weekly vlog is always really well put together, beautifully edited, and Hannah is really relatable as a mum. I love them! #BigPinkLink

  10. I've just started making story videos for kids on youtube and I did a video advent calendar and I loved it. I'll definitely be doing more. I also use it for hairstyling tips for my daughter and also tutorials for everything from a new computer program to making a flower out of wine bottle corks. Thanks for linking up and giving me some new things to explore! #bigpinklink

  12. I'm addicted too although I'm not watching as much lately as I don't have much time anymore but yes I started my Youtube channel first because I was watching lots of Youtubers like The Saconne Jolie, The Shaytards, Viviana Does Make Up (beauty), Lilly Pebbles (beauty), I also like Fleur DeForce, In The Frow (Beauty), etc. So I really wanted to do the same as I love making videos. It is so much fun although I can't be doing an every day video as I don't have the time for that. I don't put make every day and I won't appear in front of the camera looking like a zombie so at the moment doing some theme videos work for me. I think the "YouTube videos thing" is now taking over the live tv!! Thanks so much for sharing this at #KCACOLS. I would love to see you again on Sunday! :-) x
