May - Monthly Bucket List

May bucket list

1. Try to lose 5-6 lbs which would be easy if it wasn't for several weekend plans involving food & drink but you've got to have a social life too 😆

2. Get out running a bit more. I'm a newbie &  can only manage small distances but I do enjoy it but it can be tricky with work/kids etc especially as my son's been poorly recently.  I'm hoping this might help achieve number 1 👟

3. Finish my holiday shopping.  I'm not getting much for myself but really want some new sunglasses, maxi dress & a swimming costume

4. Get some pot plants to brighten up the garden. We have chickens & rabbits who have free roam so my plans for lovely borders & veg have gone out the window but I still want some colour 🌻

5. Go on holiday.  I can't wait now although still dreading school as I'm being naughty & taking the kids out for a week. I've never done it before & it has been stressing me out a bit but I'm sure the sun, sea and sand will make up for it.

  1. Hope you have a brilliant holiday! As for the school, so many parents take their children out for 2 weeks at a time, so I wouldn't worry at all, just enjoy yourself.

    1. Thank you lovely. Our council appear to be quite strict but it annoys me enormously as they are happy to close the entire school for 2 days to use as a polling station. Grr! x

  2. I'd totally take the kids out of school for a few days too - kids holiday prices are unreal. 5 - 6 lbs is only 2 lbs per week so work around your nights out and you'll be grand.
Good luck for the coming month xXx

  3. Don't stress about taking them out, even if you get fined it will be much less than the extra paid in the kids hols, enjoy :) #bigpinklink

  5. I'm hoping to start running again this month too. I know what you mean though, it's so hard to find the time/energy for it. I hope you have an amazing holiday, I would do exactly the same and take the kids out of school, holidays are important too and it's so much cheaper in term time 😊 x

  6. Hope SW is treating you kindly. I've had lots of cake filled weekends too so I think the scales won't be too impressed! I started running with the couch to 5k app and it was brilliant

    1. Thanks Beth. To be honest I find Saturdays impossible and then have to claw it back for Wednesday. I need something SW friendly snack/easy meals as hate cooking on Saturdays. Fingers crossed for this weigh in. Been super good today. X
