1.Taking the top spot was my Halloween events for children & families in Northamptonshire 2018 Guide. I think this is partly because Halloween is becoming such a big occasion and as half term this year was spread over 2 weeks a lot of locations had events on for longer.

We love Halloween in our house and actually had a special trip to Disneyland Paris. The decorations were fab and I loved the Halloween parade.
2. Next was the Fireworks in Northamptonshire 2018 Guide. We actually went to 2 displays this year although only just made the free racecourse event!

This was to celebrate Roald Dahl's 100th Birthday. My children's school had a special day and asked children to dress up as characters from any Roald Dahl book. We went for BFG as the post title suggests.

4. I love holidays and for many years have grabbed a cheapy during the Breakfree offer. This will actually be starting again soon so I'll update the post as soon as I know more details. 5. Next up another guide Easter Half Term ideas in Northamptonshire. I love Easter the weather is usually improving, days getting longer and 2+ weeks of school! In Northamptonshire our favourite Easter days out are Castle Ashby and West Lodge Farm. How about you?
